Taking Care of Your Window Boxes & Containers
To keep your pots in good condition we recommend you water around twice a week with a good few litres of water.
Quantities will vary depending upon the size of your pot. The key is to keep the soil moist at all times and not to let it get dry and cakey.
The wind can play havoc with your pots so when it is very windy check your pots don't dry out. You may need to water extra in these weather conditions.
Also dont be fooled that when it rains you do not need to water your pots! Rain is not a substitute for watering. Some pots are sheltered from the rain and believe it or not it doesnt give sufficient watering in most cases.
Dead-head flowers by pulling off shrivelled flower heads to keep your pots neat and tidy.
